Dr. Matthew Culverwell, graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed his clinical year at Colorado State University. With over 14 years of experience in small animal medicine, Dr. Culverwell has a strong focus on internal medicine and ultrasound. He is passionate about providing compassionate, consistent care and building lasting relationships with both pets and their people.

Originally from New York, Dr. Culverwell has previously owned and operated his own veterinary clinic before relocating to Florida with his wife Kayla, their three children and their four rescue pets: Baymax, Sarabi, Marshmello, and Theodore. Life at home is full of energy, but Dr. Culverwell embraces the chaos and finds joy in balancing his professional and family life. He understands firsthand how important pets are as family members and believes strongly that trust and communication are essential in veterinary care.

In his downtime, he enjoys relaxing with his family and recharging after busy clinic days. Dr. Culverwell is excited to bring his experience and dedication to the Tampa area and looks forward to becoming a trusted and familiar part of the Ehrlich community.
